Create apps

Pick a product kind when you create a project. Kind is stored in vamp.toml and controls what vampcode run opens.

Desktop

kind = "desktop"

vampcode run . opens a native desktop window.

Web

kind = "web"

Localhost HTTP + default browser — not a desktop window.

Mobile

kind = "mobile"

Mobile-first UI scaffold in a native design window.

Backend

kind = "backend"

Services only. Call with vampcode call /api/….

Still seeing a desktop window for web? Confirm vamp.toml has kind = "web" and reinstall the CLI if needed.
